Julien Tailhades 8th Modern Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis & Its Applications Symposium 2022

Julien Tailhades

Dr Julien Tailhades received his PhD from the University of Montpellier (France) in 2010. He was then a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pierre and Marie Curie (France) and at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health (Australia) with Prof. John Wade, where his research interests principally involved fundamental and medicinal chemistry applied to insulin-like peptides. In 2016, he joined Monash University (Australia) with Assoc. Prof. Max Cryle to work on new synthetic strategies and application of glycopeptide antibiotics. His research expanded beyond glycopeptide antibiotics to provide therapeutic solutions to the current antimicrobial resistance crisis.
